Norrköping Science Park, in collaboration with leading technology companies in Norrköping, including Stadium, Holmen, HiQ, Voyado, Optiplan, Interspectral, and Gaia, is now launching the Norrköping Tech Award. This award is a tribute to organizations with solutions that demonstrate the benefits and possibilities of technology. By sharing their stories, the initiative aims to inspire and highlight technological achievements in Norrköping that have a significant impact.

Forskarna Anders Ynnerman och Jonas Unger, tilldelas Chester Carlsons forskningspris på 50 000 kronor vardera, för sin forskning inom visualisering och datorgrafik. Priset har delats ut sedan 1985 och ska främja den vetenskapliga forskningen inom området informationsvetenskap.

According to the ”Fossilfritt 2030 – Rena resan” survey in 2022, a majority of Norrköping residents wishes to decrease the space for car traffic in inner city and almost half of all respondents preferred the street space to be taken over by pedestrians, cyclists, and public transport, significantly reducing space for cars. With a new generation on the horizon and the present challenge of climate change, it is expected that the number of supporters for a car-free city will continue to grow. This trend will undoubtedly impact companies' logistics operations, particularly in last-mile deliveries.

Within the next few weeks, a world-unique flight will take place over Norrköping. The flight, which is part of Norrköping Science Park's Aero EDIH project, will use high-tech cameras to collect unique data. The collected data will be able to be used to create a digital copy of the city of Norrköping.
