Aero EDIH projects will provide services to project users (SMEs), project service providers (facilitators of projects) and Ordering parts (Case driving industri/actors).

Aero EDIH services include Testing before investing (PoC), Support to find Investments, Training & Skills Development as well as Networking & Access to innovation ecosystems, both via the EDIH networks, our sponsors and our partners. Aero EDIH also has access to expertise for instance in the fields of logistics and advanced visualization.

Content in the service provision will be obtained via competitive public procurement.

Aero EDIH facilitate networking and collaboration between SMEs, research institutions, and other stakeholders in the digital innovation ecosystem, which can lead to new business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations.

Aero EDIH offer access to technical expertise and advice on the latest digital technologies, which can helpcompanies identify and adopt the most appropriate solutions for their business needs.

Aero EDIH can provide support and guidance to companies on accessing funding opportunities for their digital innovation projects, including grants, loans, and venture capital.

Summary of Aero EDIH

Aero EDIH is a European digital innovation hub aimed at creating societal and business impact through digital and green transformation of the aerospace related industries. The goal is to support digital and green transformation of SMEs, regional airports and public sector organizations in the European Union. This project is expected to continue until december 2025, and is sponsored by the UN, Tillväxtverket, Vinnova and Region Östergötland.

    Historisk drönarflygning från Norrköping till Visby

    Norrköping Airport tar nu ett betydande steg framåt inom drönarteknik i samarbete med Aero EDIH och UMS-Skeldar. Genom dessa partnerskap har man nu fått möjligheten till en demonstrationsflygning på 16 mil till Visby över öppet vatten, med siktet inställt på det tredje kvartalet i år. Målet är att visa att drönare kan flyga långa sträckor på ett säkert och tillförlitligt sätt, vilket banar väg för nya möjligheter inom transportsektorn. Samtidigt stärker det också bilden av Norrköping som en ledande hubb inom industriell utveckling kopplat till framtidens flyg.

    World-unique flight puts Norrköping at the forefront

    Within the next few weeks, a world-unique flight will take place over Norrköping. The flight, which is part of Norrköping Science Park's Aero EDIH project, will use high-tech cameras to collect unique data. The collected data will be able to be used to create a digital copy of the city of Norrköping.

    Världsunik flygning sätter Norrköping i framkant

    Inom de närmsta veckorna kommer en världsunik flygning äga rum över Norrköping. Flygningen, som är en del av Norrköping Science Parks Aero EDIH-projekt, kommer med hjälp av högteknologiska kameror samla in unik data. Den insamlade datan kommer kunna användas för att skapa en digital kopia av Norrköping stad.
