Green electronics from Östergötland got great attention at international fair
The six companies have all gone from research at Campus Norrköping, Linköping University to becoming internationally acclaimed contenders. Today, several of the companies work with electronics that have the potential to create more sustainable and cost-effective products, and not least products of importance for the future’s energy supply.
During the two day long exhibition, the booth received many visitors and making the trip together proved to be a success factor.
As a young company, you must prioritize hard among your marketing activities. Sharing a booth therefore created the conditions for us at DP Patterning to exhibit at LOPEC. We received very good “leads” from LOPEC and at the same time the cooperation in the “Swedish Pavilion” strengthened our contact with the other companies. It is very valuable because we can help each other with customer contacts and networks that strengthen everyone’s sales and development, says Tommy Höglund, Sales & Marketing Manager at DP Pattering.
It was fantastic to see how interested the visitors were in our exhibitors’ products, and by gathering everyone in the same booth, a critical mass of solutions and visitors was created. Many times, the visitors were set on visiting one of our exhibitors, but they often ended up walking the entire circle, says Eva Eriksson, Project Manager at Norrköping Science Park.

For several of the companies, the visit to Munich and LOPEC also provided valuable contacts with potential customers and network actors.
LOPEC was a successful exhibition for us that would not have been possible without Norrköping Science Park’s commitment and coordination. As a young startup, we have not had the opportunity to exhibit at such a large event before, and thanks to this opportunity, we have now made many important contacts with potential customers and partners, says Alexandra Troulioti, Marketing and business developer at Cellfion.
LOPEC became a clear example of the knowledge and innovative power that exists in our region, and if you visited LOPEC, you most likely did not miss the red tower with the Swedish flags at the top.
