With regional partners, we develop the future of logistics, focusing on sustainable transport like electric aircraft and drones.
Shaping the future of logistics
With a port, airport, railways, and major highways, Norrköping has long been a key hub for logistics. But logistics isn’t just about infrastructure, it’s about how to improve and innovate for a better society.
Norrköping is home to Sweden’s largest logistics research environment, centered around Linköping University’s Department of Communication and Transport Systems (KTS). Researchers here drive innovation in sustainable logistics and digitalized transport to develop smarter and more efficient solutions.
A key focus is drone and electric aviation, where Norrköping is leading development. The city has already hosted long-distance drone flights, and with the airport as a testbed, new transport technologies are being tested and refined.
