With cutting-edge expertise in 3D and AI, Shader, founded by Simon Hedlund and Filip Kantedal, has rapidly become a technology developer to watch. Through interactive visualizations for Norrköping Port and Region Västernorrland, the company has showcased how Swedish industry—and other sectors—can benefit from digital technologies and sustainable solutions.

In mid-October, 11 innovative companies from Sweden, Finland, Estonia, and Latvia traveled to Chicago as part of the EU-funded Bridging4Growth project. The delegation aimed to connect these companies with local stakeholders and practical strategies to break into the U.S. market. With us from Norrköping, we had our local companies Interspectral and Ligna Energy.

Last week, a delegation comprising several Austrian companies visited Norrköping for a packed program of networking opportunities, site visits, and workshops. The visit was part of a new collaboration between Advantage Austria Nordics, Norrköping Science Park (NOSP), and Linköping Science Park, aimed at strengthening partnerships and exchanges with companies from Östergötland and international companies, both within technology and innovation.

From November 4-7, Norrköping welcomed participants of the Scaleup Launchpad program for workshop-days aimed at equipping scaleup companies with strategies for sustainable growth. Hosted by Norrköping Science Park, the event brought together innovative tech companies from Sweden, Finland, and Estonia, representing a range of industries and solutions—from AI and IoT to construction and recruitment technology.

Santa Anna IT Research Institute now announces that they have got funding from the Wallenberg WASP programme and Vinnova Avancerad Digitalisering for a 1 ½ year research- and demonstrator-project together with parts from the industry, Swedish and Danish academia and the Swedish Police Authority.

Norrköping Science Park, NOSP, proudly announces the launch of the Innovate Electrochemistry (IEL) project, a novel innovation lab and ecosystem dedicated to supporting young deep-tech companies by providing world-class R&D capabilities in electrochemical flow systems. Last week, the inspiration days for the future production method in electronics—printed electronics—took place. During a lunch-to-lunch conference, 80 participants from across Sweden gathered in the industrial landscape of Norrköping and the premises of Norrköping Science Park. Among the participants were researchers, startups, as well as established industry.
