For many small and medium-sized companies in the Central Baltic region, the leap into distant markets can feel out of reach. Limited resources, lack of local knowledge and difficulties in building trust often hold back international growth. Bridging4Growth was created to change that. By combining networks from Sweden, Finland, Estonia and Latvia, the project helps SMEs enter three high-potential markets outside the EU: Brazil, the Great Lakes area in the US/Canada, and Uzbekistan.
Purpose of project
Bridging4Growth supports innovative SMEs in greentech and smart sustainable solutions to expand globally. The project equips companies with market knowledge, direct contacts and long-term support, so they can build presence and close deals in new regions.
Companies in the programme recieve:
-
Export kit with essential market insights and tools
-
Participation in business delegations to Brazil, the Great Lakes or Uzbekistan
-
Up to 30 hours of free mentorship with market experts
-
Visibility and exposure for your company through our networks and channels
Expected results
By the end of the project, Bridging4Growth aims to support 90 SMEs with export readiness and networks. At least 20 companies are expected to secure new sales contracts in the target markets, while many more will establish MoUs, pilots or other agreements. The project will also strengthen cross-border cooperation in the Central Baltic, creating shared export networks that last beyond the project itself.
